Madan Bhatta

Madan R. Bhatta is leading Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Programme in Nepal and providing services as an Advisor in global WASH and Water Governance Team. He holds master’s degrees in construction management as well as Rural development after completion of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He joined Helvetas in 2005 and has more than 20 years of work experience in IWRM and WASH. His thematic focus includes implementation of WASH technologies and approaches in community and institutions. Being a WASH and IWRM expert at Helvetas, he developed Water Use Master Plan (WUMP) concept – a practical tool for IWRM and WASH planning.
