Elizabeth Gozzer is the CEO and Co-Founder of Besage.ai, an AI-native social enterprise at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence for human development. She has more than two decades of experience at the intersection of international development, innovation, and private sector, with a career spanning Latin America, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, and the MENA region.

She began her career in the financial industry, working in a leading stock brokerage firm and later at Duke Energy where she developed her expertise in capital markets, risk management, and ESG. She went on to advise energy and mining companies on ESG and sustainability. Elizabeth then transitioned into international development, designing and implementing economic development programs focused on youth economic empowerment, workforce development, PPPs, private sector development, gender inclusion, and climate resilience. She has worked with leading NGOs and consulting firms including Swisscontact, Pact, and Creative Associates International, consistently focusing on systems-level solutions that drive measurable impact.

Elizabeth holds an MA in International Relations from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, a Post Degree in Finance, and a BSc in Business Management, and advanced coursework in artificial intelligence, data science, sustainability, and design thinking from MIT and Harvard.
