Javier Gonzales Iwanciw is a Food Technologist (Dipl.-Ing.) and Social Sciences PhD Candidate, active in the field of climate change since 1998. Between then and 2008 he has worked for and advised the Bolivian government on climate change policies. Javier has also consulted on climate change issues for different cooperation agencies including the UN system and mulitilateral development banks in Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico and Central America. He currently works as a Regional Climate Change Advisor for Helvetas based in Bolivia and maintains research positions at the Public Administration and Policy Group of Wageningen University in the Netherlands and at the Nur University in Bolivia.
